Police seek tips after theft at Tupelo Best Buy

Police in Tupelo are seeking the public’s help in identifying two individuals involved in a theft at Best Buy on April 18, 2026, according to Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi.

Two unidentified males entered the store around 7:30 p.m. and stole a laptop. One suspect concealed the device, while the other acted as a lookout to prevent staff from noticing the theft. The suspects then left the store without paying for the merchandise.

The suspects arrived at and left the scene in an unspecified silver or gray sedan, authorities said. The Tupelo Police Department is investigating the incident.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Tips can be submitted anonymously by calling 800-773-TIPS or through the P3 Tip App, which can be accessed via a QR code shared by the organization.

Officials emphasized that Crime Stoppers does not want your name, only your information.
