Road Closure on Oxford Way for Water Main Installation

The west end of Oxford Way onto Old Taylor Road will be closed to through traffic Tuesday night, according to city officials.

The closure will begin at 9 p.m. and last until 1 a.m. Wednesday, as crews install a water main, officials said.

Motorists are advised to use South Lamar Boulevard as an alternate route during the closure, which is expected to cause minimal disruption.

City officials urged drivers to plan accordingly and follow posted detours for safety and efficiency.
