Storm Damage Reports Requested from Lafayette County and Oxford Residents

The National Weather Service Memphis is gathering damage reports from Monday and Tuesday’s storms that impacted Lafayette County and Oxford. The agency is currently surveying the area and seeks community input to verify storm data and improve future warnings.

Residents are asked to report any damage caused by the storms, including downed trees, power lines, roof or structural damage, and hail. The agency requests details such as location, approximate time of the incident, and photos if available.

Reports can be submitted via direct message or comment on social media, or by email to emapio@lafayettecoms.com. Officials emphasize that even minor damage reports are valuable for creating a complete picture of the storm’s impact on the community.
