Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office asks community to support Chuck Jenkins through fundraiser

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office is asking the Lafayette-Oxford-University community to support Chuck Jenkins through a fundraiser.

According to a post from the sheriff’s office, Jenkins has spent years serving the Lafayette-Oxford-University community through his law enforcement career. Most recently, he served as academy director of the Lafayette County Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy, where he helped prepare and train the next generation of law enforcement officers.

The post invited community members, fellow law enforcement officers, friends and family to contribute to the fundraiser. It said every contribution, regardless of the amount, is appreciated.

The sheriff’s office also said people who are unable to contribute can support Jenkins by sharing the fundraiser post.
