Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office asks community to support Chuck Jenkins through fundraiser

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office is asking the Lafayette-Oxford-University community to support Chuck Jenkins through a fundraiser, according to a post on the office’s Facebook page.

Jenkins has spent years serving the Lafayette-Oxford-University community through his career in law enforcement, the post said. Most recently, he served as academy director of the Lafayette County Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy, where he helped prepare and train the next generation of law enforcement officers.

The post invited community members, fellow law enforcement officers, friends and family to contribute to the fundraiser. It said contributions of any amount are appreciated and that people who are unable to donate can support Jenkins by sharing the post.
