Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office spotlights Interfaith Compassion Ministry
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office spotlighted Interfaith Compassion Ministry and its Executive Director Lena Wiley for the organization’s work helping individuals and families in Lafayette County during times of crisis.
According to a post from the sheriff’s office, the ministry assists people dealing with financial hardship, housing insecurity and other basic needs. Its services include help with rent and utilities, as well as support for people experiencing homelessness.
The post said community members can support Interfaith Compassion Ministry through financial donations, including online contributions through the organization’s website or mailed donations. It also invited people to contact the ministry about volunteer and other ways to help.
