New three-way stop installed at Lafayette County intersection

A new three-way stop is in effect at the intersection of County Road 232, also known as Deer Run North, and County Road 217, also known as Camp Ground Road, according to the Lafayette County Road Department.

The department said the change is active and that traffic in all three directions at the intersection is controlled by stop signs. Drivers who regularly use the route must come to a complete stop in all directions, a change from the previous traffic pattern.

The Lafayette County Road Department advised drivers to use extra caution in the area as they adjust to the new traffic pattern. The announcement was shared by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office.
