Mississippi Department of Public Safety team meets with Catholic Charities

Several Mississippi Department of Public Safety leaders joined Catholic Charities for an opportunity to connect, share and strengthen relationships, according to a post from the department.

The department said Catholic Charities welcomed Capitol Police Major Sim Shanks and Major Mark Miller, along with Mississippi Highway Patrol Col. Tadd Pitts and Lt. Col. James Ivory.

The gathering focused on strengthening relationships intended to help the participants better serve communities across Mississippi, the department said.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety expressed appreciation to Catholic Charities for the invitation and for its continued commitment to serving others.
