Ocean Springs Police Department recognized at Mississippi Crime Stoppers conference

Crime Stoppers programs from across Mississippi gathered for the Annual Crime Stoppers Conference, according to a post from the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.

The conference provided an opportunity for participants to connect, share ideas and recognize work supporting public safety and community partnerships, the department said.

The Ocean Springs Police Department was named Supporting Law Enforcement Agency of the Year. Kristopher Cokel received the Law Enforcement Coordinator of the Year award.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety thanked Crime Stoppers programs and law enforcement partners across the state for their continued dedication to public safety.
