Oxford notice scheduled East Jackson Avenue closure for Sept. 8

The City of Oxford announced that East Jackson Avenue between North 14th and North 17th streets was scheduled to close to through traffic on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

The notice said the closure was planned so crews could repair a broken utility line. Traffic was to be detoured around the area via North 14th and North 17th streets.

Updated Sept. 8 to include the calendar date specified in the city’s notice.
