Generator to operate overnight at Haley Well site on July 28-29

Contractors will operate a generator overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Haley Well site on the southern end of South 16th Street, according to a notice from local officials.

The generator is necessary to pump the well clear so that samples can be collected. The equipment will be monitored by contractor personnel at all times, officials said.

Residents in the area are advised to expect noise from the operation during these nights. No additional disruptions or closures are expected at this time.
