Lafayette County Youth Academy Fully Enrolled for 2026

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office has announced that its 2026 Youth Academy is fully enrolled. The department said it received an overwhelming response from the community, leading to the closure of applications for this year’s program.

Officials expressed gratitude for the interest shown by local youth and their families. They added that no additional applications are being accepted at this time.

The department plans to host another Youth Academy next summer and encourages those who missed out to apply then. Officials thanked everyone who applied and said they look forward to beginning this year’s class.
