Oxford community composting project earns state award
Rayna Matthews traveled to Jackson last Thursday to accept a First Place affiliate award from Keep Mississippi Beautiful. The award recognized her work with the Oxford Community Garden’s composting project.
The project was awarded the Be Beautiful grant through Keep Mississippi Beautiful, in partnership with Toyota. Matthews and others were credited for providing materials that helped advance the composting effort.
