Oregon School Districts to Close for Labor Day on Sept. 4

All Oregon School District schools and offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 4, in observance of Labor Day, according to district officials.

The district encourages students, staff, and families to enjoy a safe and relaxing long weekend. No classes or administrative functions will be held on the holiday.

School districts typically observe federal holidays with closures, and this year is no exception. The district wishes everyone a happy Labor Day, the statement said.

Schools are scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
