Oxford Police Department shared Labor Day safety reminder

The Oxford Police Department reminded residents to avoid drinking and driving in a Labor Day message posted on its Facebook page.

“NEVER drink and drive!” the department said, encouraging people who go out to make a plan to get home safely.

The department also said its administrative offices would be closed on Labor Day. It advised people to call 911 in an emergency and wished residents a safe holiday.
