Oxford police identify medical assistance sites near City Hall and Funky’s

The Oxford Police Department shared information about two locations where people could seek medical assistance: a cooling station on East Jackson next to City Hall and the Safe Site Tent across from Funky’s.

According to the department’s Facebook post, emergency medical personnel staffed the cooling station. The post said people who became too hot or needed medical assistance could visit either location.

The department also expressed appreciation for medical personnel working during what it described as a busy weekend.
