Oxford police officers visit Lafayette Elementary for Community Helper Week

The Oxford Police Department said Officers Nick Davis and Eli McMain participated in Community Helper Week at Lafayette Elementary last week.

According to a post from the department, the officers spent time with students, discussed their work and emphasized that police officers are available to help, support and connect with the community.

The department said it appreciated Lafayette Elementary’s invitation to take part in the week’s activities.
