Oxford safe site hosts event to promote drink spiking prevention

Oxford police, Family Crisis Services of Northwest Mississippi, Inc., and Rebels Against Sexual Assault will host an event tonight at the Oxford Safe Site tent on the Square.

The event runs from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., during which attendees can learn about the NightCap Drink Spiking Prevention program.

The organizations encourage community members to stop by and receive information aimed at preventing drink spiking and promoting safety at social gatherings.

The event is part of ongoing efforts to raise awareness and provide resources to keep residents safe.
