Oxford woman arrested for cyberstalking in Lafayette County

Lafayette County deputies arrested Hannah Nicole Cypert, 20, of Oxford, Mississippi, on August 27 after a police investigation into a harassment report. The sheriff’s office announced Monday that an affidavit and arrest warrant were obtained for Cypert, who was accused of cyberstalking.

Cypert was located in Lafayette County and detained at the Lafayette County Detention Center. She appeared before a Lafayette County Justice Court Judge on August 28 and was held on a $5,000 bond, authorities said.

The sheriff’s office emphasized that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Further details of the investigation have not been disclosed.
