Oxford School District honors Deputy Superintendent as August Sustainer

Oxford School District has named Mrs. Herrington as its August Sustainer. Each month, Dr. McConnell highlights a staff member who exemplifies the qualities of an Oxford Charger.

Mrs. Herrington has dedicated many years to the district, serving as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, director, and now Deputy Superintendent. Her work often goes unseen, as she supports staff and students behind the scenes, district officials said.

District leaders expressed gratitude for her contributions and encouraged the community to join in congratulating her. A message on the district’s social media urged supporters to drop a blue heart emoji in the comments to celebrate her achievement.
