Schools now accepting absentee excuses via email

Parents in Oxford School District can now email their child’s absence excuses directly to their child’s school, simplifying the attendance process. Instead of sending handwritten notes, parents can take a photo and send it via email.

Schools have designated email addresses for attendance reporting. For Oxford Elementary, email oecc-attendance@oxfordsd.org; for BES, bes-attendance@oxfordsd.org; for DDES, ddes-attendance@oxfordsd.org; for CES, ces-attendance@oxfordsd.org; for OIS, ois-attendance@oxfordsd.org; for OMS, oms-attendance@oxfordsd.org; and for OHS, ohs-attendance@oxfordsd.org.

School officials encourage parents to save their child’s school’s attendance email address for future use. This new process aims to reduce lost notes and streamline attendance reporting for families and staff.
